Random Ramblings...

So...someone had "beef" with me not explaining camp more. I didn't really think many people read my blog-so...here goes the explaining...
CAMP-It's called Camp Mark 7-owned by a deaf Catholic Priest. Started many years ago, I believe they mention it on their website. www.campmark7.org
11 years ago they started KODA Camp-a place where children like myself can go and be with other kids of deaf adults (after you become 18 you're a coda child of deaf adult(s))
This place has been heaven on earth for me, and yet I didn't go back for 4 years because of some staff members who made the last year horrible for me.
Needless to say I went back for a visit this year-and I've never felt more loved or myself within 4 days. It was so hard to leave! I'm already planning on being there next summer.

Something that I just wanted to say...
It's been 6 months, and I've never felt more comfortable with myself nor have I ever felt more myself in years! I have Terri and CM7 Staff and friends to thank for that. God has funny ways of making you realize what's right for you. Now I know...and for sure Friday Night's Baseball game date--NO GO! YAY for seeing Shelley and Jon tho! :)
Thank you to those who prayed for me during that rough time. Some days are still tough-singleness does suck sometimes-but I know how to get through it now in a healthy way.
So, on that note...YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ME!
