Last weekend was quite the interesting weekend. Bella & Corbin came to visit and we took a trip to the Seattle Science Center. I sure do love kids--but I'm always glad to give them back as well.
Corbin is quite the character-he really does say what's on his mind.
While we were driving into Seattle looking for the parking garage, he says to me. "Maureen-Seattle is a weird city, weird people, weird fashion, and weird bodies" This cracked me up a 6 year old using the word "fashion", and well-he's right! After a long day at the science center-we headed back home, picked up some good kid food-Mickey D's and proceeded to eat dinner. While eating dinner Corbin says to me "Maureen, you're a dork-that's why you're so pretty"...GOOD TO KNOW! HAHA
So apparently-all dorks are pretty! :) Now if only adult males saw it the same way.
Tonight is concessions for me with the Junior Class ASB
kids, they're lucky I love them. 4-10:30 tonight--that's killing my weekend. Oh well. Next weekend is quite the busy weekend. We've got a regional deaf basketball tournament-and I'm trying to take my students to-but who knows if I have a sub yet. LAME. Then Sat is the basketba
ll tournament and Amanda's Baby Shower! :) Can't wait fo
r that. I have two more weeks until I hear back about Camp. I really hope I make it in!
